VeganMoFo Day 4: Anywhere But Here

In the second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Willow, Buffy, and Xander play the game “Anywhere But Here” which is essentially them telling each other their fantasies. Willow dreams she is in Florence at a restaurant eating ziti when she is joined by John Cusack. That sounds pretty good. Normally I’d pick something like snorkeling in Tahiti with Patrick Stewart. Today, my dreams are a little more attainable. I choose taking a nap with McPuppenstein and then eating ice cream.

OH wait. Since it’s a fantasy I change ice cream to ice cream cake. Once Kristen just brought me an ice cream cake she had made. It was probably the best day of my life.

Where would you rather be?

I want to be at home (except a clean version of my home), on the front porch (obviously the weather is nicer in my imagination), eating something that someone else cooked.

Oh yeah, agree on the clean version. I also should have also mentioned I want the puppy *not* being home, otherwise how am I going to nap.

That napping bit sounds good. But I would also take sitting on a sunny-but-not-too-hot patio with an umbrella drink and my guys. And nachos. Wow, I really would like some nachos right now.

I don’t know if I could improve upon pasta with John Cusack, but maybe archery lessons with Jeremy Renner with a picnic basket of fruit and cashew cheeses.

Just finished cleaning the house so it feels pretty frickin’ awesome here! However, add that puppy and cake and it would be pretty dreamy.

Oh my gosh, I want that ice cream cake.
If I could be anywhere but here right now I would be at home with my cats eating mac and cheese. And ice cream cake.

WTH?! VEGAN ICE CREAM CAKE?!!!! Why am I just now finding out about this!?!!?!? I’m actually off sugar for now but when my birthday rolls around….

I’d love to be on the mediterranean (France, Italy, Greece? I’m not picky, I’d take any of these), in a nice cozy villa with my family…basking in the sun, enjoying wonderful food cooked with fresh ingredients, a glass (oh who am I kidding, a bottle(s)) of red wine….oh I could go on and on, but it would only depress me….
